This week I’m choosing “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Wanz as my Song of the Week. The catchy tune is currently sitting at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. I can’t remember the first time I heard this song, but I knew it would become a hit. “Thrift Shop” was released on August 28, 2012 as the fifth single off of Macklemore’s debut album The Heist.
