This week I’m choosing “The Lucky Ones” by Kerli as my Song of the Week. The Estonian singer/songwriter, who is currently signed to Island Records, released the single on October 29, 2012. Since then the song has hit the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart (current position #7). “The Lucky Ones” is an electropop song driven by dance and trance club elements. The song will be featured on Kerli’s upcoming EP titled Utopia, which is expected to be released March 19, 2013. The official music video was released on December 5, 2012. Check it out (below).
